BPT Event 6

A new record of 132 runners in this weeks event.

Well that was pretty brief and bloody. I had a bad feeling about this game from the moment I looked at my first hand, As Kh. Does that sound silly? I would have prefered a few hands to check out the table. Anyway nothing comes on the flop and I muck it to a pot sized bet.

After 40 minutes the highlight of the game has been taunting Admin with the cricket scores. I`m getting murdered, every raise seems to get re-raised. I can`t hit a flop when I do get to see one.

Finally something decentish, pocket jacks in early position. I`m not getting into these cards too heavily though, lost too many tourneys with them. A minimum raise is re-raised to 300 by Scottishlad and I call. Just the two of us in the hand and the flop comes 10d 6c Jc. I check, I know he`s going to fire off a continuation bet, what surprises me is the size of it 750 chips. Just double check, yup I have hooks and there`s a third one on the table. I`m all-in, called by Scottishlad who turns over pocket kings. Turn is 7h, only one card to come and I already know what it`s going to be. Yep there it is Kd.

Off to the rail in 102nd place, sent there by a 2-outer. What can you do, that`s poker. I could play the hand a million more times and I wouldn`t play it any differently.

So I decide to take a look at the Poker Pub and check out the live commentary. Turns out Mike was watching my table and saw the hand. Nice as it is to be featured at "the pub" I was hoping it might have been as a winner of a BPT event lol.

So I decide to check out and see how he`s doing. I arrive at his table just in time to see the quote of the tournament IMO.

Windbreak "I`m not thrilled about 3 of the top 10 at one table"

Imjusthere4thebeer "I am not that thrilled that other people still have chips"

LMAO Nice 1 Mike.

So I`m off to play the 5th Street weekly game. A full run down of the BPT placings will follow.
